Create a QR code in three steps

How to create a QR code

  1. Add the contentEnter a website URL, text, email, phone number, SMS or Wi-Fi network.
  2. Choose the designSelect a QR style and add optional colours, a logo, heading or call to action.
  3. Verify and downloadRun the local check, then save the QR code or promotional design as PNG or SVG.

Logos, styles and promotional text

Choose from six QR styles and add an optional heading or call to action. When you add a logo, UtiliBits uses stronger QR error correction, controlled logo sizes and local verification before download. Arbitrary logo sizes can make a code harder to scan, so the available sizes stay within the generator's limits.

Local QR verification

Before download, UtiliBits locally decodes the generated QR code and checks that it matches the intended content. This check does not guarantee scanning in every setting. Physical size, print quality, material, lighting and the scanning device can affect real-world results.

Your QR content stays private

QR payloads, Wi-Fi credentials and uploaded logos are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to UtiliBits for QR generation. Read more about local file and data handling.

Frequently asked questions

Is the QR Code Generator free?

Yes. You can create, verify and download QR codes as PNG or SVG files for free.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Adding a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo uses stronger QR error correction and controlled logo sizing. UtiliBits locally verifies the finished QR code before enabling downloads.

Can I create a Wi-Fi QR code?

Yes. Enter the network name, security type and password in the Wi-Fi form. The credentials stay in your browser and are not uploaded to UtiliBits for QR generation.

What QR styles are available?

Choose Classic, Rounded, Dots, Soft, Modern or Bold, then set colours and optional promotional text.

How does QR verification work?

UtiliBits locally decodes the generated QR code and checks that it matches the intended content before download. Physical size, print quality, material, lighting and the scanning device can still affect real-world scanning.

Are my QR contents or logo uploaded?

No. QR payloads, Wi-Fi credentials and uploaded logos are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to UtiliBits for QR generation.

Can I download PNG and SVG files?

Yes. After local verification, you can download the QR code alone or the promotional design as PNG or SVG.
